Scott has been with ASAAP for 3 years.  He became the  Executive Director in 2011.   Prior to joining ASAAP, Scott worked as the Chief Deputy for Nuckolls County for 24 years.  He was a mentor and trainer on the Nebraska D.A.R.E. training staff.  Scott has taught D.A.R.E. for 21 years.  Scott's passion is to help others overcome their addictions along with a strong emphasis on preventing addiction before it starts.

Scott and his wife Chris live in Nelson.  Scott has been a strong advocate for prevention his entire life.  As a father of four daughters and a grandfather, he realizes that the prevention work starts at home but it takes all our citizens to join in the efforts to help deter substance use.  Scott knows through his work experiences, that drug use and abuse can devastate families and the community.  Not only does drug use change a person, but it changes a family and community.   So please join Scott and ASAAP to work toward our mission and vision in all our communities.
